Dirty Day, Angry discussion, Sadness
He's old, and it hurts. There will be, there must be, more adversity (that I don't want),
but hopefully success.
There will be more embarrassment, but some will understand.
There will be misunderstanding, but they are the ones who are clueless.
It would be nice if they looked at a song. A song they hadn't heard before, but may like.
They would probably like the lyrics I don't use. From my favorite year, 1993, U2 made the CD Zooropa, there's a meaningful song, not the best one, on the album (that's "For the First Time (I Feel Love)").
The song is DIRTY DAY. The link provides the song.
You dismiss Chicago, particularly its ghettos while ignoring that most of the people work, work hard. It's not all about selling drugs or gang shootings. People work, people suffer, a disproportionate number of minorities died from COVID as you stayed healthy. Do you even know what I do to help them? Will you dismiss that, too?
"you don't know the half of it"
Did your group think that the 2008 election was stolen too?
Do you even know why I brought that up? You think I said that to spite you at Facebook? Well, that's not the case, so here's why!
2008 was another election like 2020 where people were angry, fed up and said ENOUGH!!
2008 wasn't merely about the 1st black man who won the presidency. It was about tens of millions of voters being genuinely fed up w/ George W. Bush and his war. How he was so clueless that when his administration tried helping Iraqi farmers, his administration used the Defense Department, not the Dept.of Agriculture to help
Iraqi farmers!!
"Dirty Day" says,
"Hear what I say/Nothing's as simple as you think.
Wake up/Some things you can't get around."
A hallowed American, John McCain stated that Donald Rumsfeld was the WORST Secretary of Defense we ever had. He was right! & that very same Defense Department employed enlisted men and officers in the poor parts of Chicago, Cicero, Harvey & Maywood, and said, "you know there's going to be a draft, RIGHT?!?" They snookered Blacks and Hispanics into signing up to go to Iraq and Afghanistan and get killed. Or those minority soldiers are walking wounded, more dead than alive, because of their mental and physical trauma. So why do you think Blacks and Hispanics voted against the Republican party in 2008 and against Trump in 2020?
Then you probably believe Trump when he said, "they don't like to hear this, but I'm the best thing that ever happened to Blacks!" Go ahead not know the half of it. Nothing's as simple as you think.

Go ahead and tell me again on Facebook that supporting Trump is "common sense." I'll sit there and laugh (because it's better than crying about someone that close to me is so clueless).
It's not about handouts, it's about better education that helps educate minorities (all minorities for that matter) more, it's about spending more time figuring out a better way to get people off drugs instead of saying "lock em up!" You think that really helps? Even those 2 brothers who helped Republicans get elected, the Koch brothers, wanted less incarceration in the US! & the surviving billionaire brother who helps countless Republicans still does.
"Hear what I say/Nothing's as simple as you think
Wake up/Some things you can't get around."
"Oh my dear God!" you say to yourself, "Biden is going to be president!" You sat at your computer and admitted to me that it was impossible that 80 million people voted for Joseph Biden.
"Nothing's as simple as you think.....Some things you can't get around." You sat at your computer. You basically said it's "common sense" to have voted for Trump. You ignore his lies, his conspiracy theories, his fucking around before the 2016, and the check that almost all Americans saw to pay off Stormy Daniels!!
You can't get around that more people dislike Trump than like him. More people voted against Trump than those who voted for him.
But you don't believe that, you believe in your illusion, you believe Trump's whiny little "election was stolen" crap.
Keep doing that, because I laugh at you (it's better than crying).
I told you at the end of our argument, "you don't get it." I doubt you ever will!
